.NOMEDIA 文件扩展名

The Android OS uses a NOMEDIA file (Android No Media File). This file type can be seen when you attempt to open a video on your device, but it cannot be played. A NOMEDIA file is created when no media file is available for your device to play.

One use for Android's NOMEDIA files is to exclude a folder from the Gallery app.

Another use case is to enhance multimedia-viewing apps' performance by excluding folders that contain large numbers of images or videos from searches. This will cause the app's other files to load and display more quickly. Some Android apps create NOMEDIA files to ensure that multimedia files they include are not shown in apps like music players and image browsers.

Sometimes, you may wish to include a folder containing a NOMEDIA file in multimedia apps' media searches. In this case, you can delete the file using an Android file manager. And you can use an Android file manager to open a NOMEDIA file.
