Some Android apps create NOMEDIA files to ensure that multimedia files they include are not shown in apps like music players and image browsers.

Sometimes, you may wish to include a folder containing a NOMEDIA file in multimedia apps' media searches. In this case, you can delete the file using an Android file manager. And you can use an Android file manager to open a NOMEDIA file.
