RM files typically store multimedia data, such as audio, video, or both. Sometimes RM files may also contain images or text data. RM files containing only audio commonly have the RA extension. While RM files that contain video or audio and video together, have the RV extension.
These files can be played using RealPlayer and other media players. RM files can be converted to other more common formats with the help of various media players that support the format.
