ينتمي ملف .CUIX إلى فئة Settings Files التي تستخدم في أنظمة تشغيل مثل Windows 11, 10 وWindows 7 وWindows 8 / 8.1 وWindows Vista وWindows XP.

A CUIX file (AutoCAD Custom User Interface File) contains user interface elements, such as toolbars and palettes. It can be used to create custom toolbars and palettes or to modify existing ones.

The standard version of the CUIX file is acad.cuix, which appears when you first open AutoCAD. CUIX files contain multiple XML and image files packaged together.
In AutoCAD 2010, the CUIX file format replaced the older CUI files. The newer file type also replaces all workspace customizations made using a combination of MNU and MNS files from previous releases.
